Nutrition Supply Services Framework has now been published
The tender for a new Nutrition Supply Services Framework (including enteral feeds, pumps, consumables, home delivery service and support services) has now been published.
In addition to issuing the Framework tender documents, two further competition tender documents, for the Sout West London sector and the North East London sector have been issued at the same time.
The framework will go live by June 2016 and will be available to all our members. There is an opportunity to achieve savings by utilisation of the Off FP10 arrangements (Lot 2). LPP will provide on-going management of the framework.
The Framework will have two Lots.
Lot 1 – On FP10 Prescription Management arrangements (Secondary care: feeds (tube feeds, specialist feeds and oral nutritional supplements), enteral feeding pumps and associated Consumables (plastics and ancillaries) and support services. Community/Primary care: enteral feeding pumps, associated consumables (plastics and ancillaries) home delivery and associated support services.
Lot 2 – Off FP10 Prescription Management arrangements (Secondary care: tube feeds, enteral feeding pumps and associated consumables (plastics and ancillaries). Community/Primary care: Tube Feeds, enteral feeding pumps, associated consumables (plastics and ancillaries) home delivery and associated support services.
LPP will be publishing the tenders during April. There will be separate evaluation processes and separate evaluation panels for the Framework and the further competition tenders. Evaluation panel members will include clinical and procurement staff from LPP; clinical, procurement and finance staff from the participating trusts, patients/carers and, where relevant, medical engineering.
LPP will be holding a bidders' day within three weeks of issuing the tender documents.

Tom Wynne, who has been Senior Workstream Lead for NHS London Procurement Partnership’s Medical and Surgical team for the past two years, has been appointed to the new NHS Improvement Regional Head of Procurement role for London.
