Procurement in Healthcare Show
Procurement in Healthcare Show at London Olympia, 27th September 2017. 2016 headline speakers include Steve Graham, Alyson Brett and Chris Mullin.
LPP is supporting Procurement in Healthcare as part of the UK Health Show in 2017. Procurement in Healthcare connects the NHS with partners and suppliers as it seeks to leverage its purchasing power to achieve the best value in procuring goods and services.
The Procurement in Healthcare Stage will include a session delivered by our Managing Director Mario Varela, titled ‘Combining resources in the procurement of common goods and services’.
The session, delivered jointly with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), will provide insights on the evolving relationship of the CCS with the NHS Customer Board for Procurement & Supply and NHS procurement hubs. It will also offer guidance on current developments within the CCS operating model and its integration with NHS commercial priorities and outline how wider NHS stakeholders can get engaged with the commercial delivery plans now in development.
This year's agenda will focus on:
• The Carter Review and NHS procurement transformation
• Finance and efficiency
• Operational productivity and reducing unwarranted variation
• eProcurement and eCommerce
• Standardisation and benchmarking
• Collaboration and partnership working
• Workforce, staffing and procurement skills development
